The company was formerly known as Chokshi Consultancy – a Partnership firm managed by Mr. Ajay Chokshi and his elder brother Mr. Mukesh Chokshi. Mr. Ajay Chokshi has done his Diploma in Travel Management through The Gujarat Samachar Academy, Ahmedabad. Both the brother had joined hands for better services to the clients and their sincere efforts made them succeed.

 
 

The company use to provide service like Air Bookings, Hotel Booking, Visa Formalities, Business Tour, Group Tour, Individual Overseas Leisure Tours and  Allied services. During   the  span of first  3 years   company represented some of the prestigious Universities of Australia and rendered services as well as guidance to the potential students. Day by day company built its goodwill and maintains long term relation earning huge profits. Then after with a view of development Mr. Ajay Chokshi applied with British Event Organizer for providing all kind of Travel Services to the valued clients.

As a result the Organizer appointed us as an only Official Travel Agent in India for a show (Event) named PLASA which was held at Earls Court, London during 8-11 September 2002. For this event we had rendered service like Air Bookings, Hotel Accommodations and other Travel related services.

  
 

Considering the growth and prospects the Partners concluded to change the constitution form partnership to a Private Limited Company and finally Chokshi Consultancy converted into a Private Limited Company under the mane and style of M/S. Akshar Tourism PVT. LTD since 1st June 2004. The partners of the previous company are now designated as the Directors. Considering tremendous trend of overseas tours by Gujarati Community and specially Amdavadis we have recently procured our own office in the posh area of satellite. The place purchased is of 934 sq. feet from where we plan to provide all travel related service in full fledge.

We have concluded to find innovations and latest technologies from various Overseas Travel Agencies, Hotels and Airlines for Leisure-Business tours to provide best services to our valued clients as well as to NRIs. We do communicate on line with renowned travel companies these days.
 
 

Recently Managing Director Mr. Ajay Chokshi had a successful tour to Spain for face to face meeting with various Travel agencies & Tourism Board like visit Britain, Scotland Tourism Dept. Singapore Tourism Board, Malaysia Tourism, Egyptian Tourist Authority, Dubai Govt. Dept. of Tourism Australia plus Hotela like Hyatt Hotels & resorts, Le Meridian Hotels & resorts etc. who participated in recent Exhibition of EIBTM 2004 (A Global Event for Travel Industry) held in Barcelona, Spain during 30th November- 02nd  December 2004.
